Do I have to be a beauty pro to join?
You and with a website, instagram, or portfolio. You need to be actively working as a hair or makeup artist — not just “passionate about beauty.” TAA is strictly for professionals. No clients, planners, photographers, or other vendors allowed inside the network.
What happens after I join?
Create your professional profile with portfolio, specialties, and availability. Then start browsing the artist directory, posting real opportunities, applying for quality gigs, and accessing community features as they launch.
Can I find or hire other artists through TAA?
That’s exactly why we exist. Filter by city, specialty, and availability to find artists who show up and deliver. No more crossing your fingers with random Instagram finds.
Can I post jobs?
Yes. Post assistant needs, team opportunities, second artist calls, or jobs you are referring out. Real jobs only — no “exposure” or unpaid “collaborations.”
What if I only work in one city?
Perfect. Many top local artists use TAA to connect with visiting professionals, join high-end teams, and access opportunities they’d never see otherwise. Plus, upcoming features like city groups, masterminds, and local events work for everyone.
What if I cancel?
Cancel anytime. But know that if you leave during free beta and return later, you’ll pay the new member rates instead of getting grandfathered pricing.
Does TAA have a code of conduct?
Zero tolerance for no-shows, unprofessional behavior, unsanitary practices, or disrespecting fellow artists. One strike, you’re out. We protect the community’s reputation above all else.
Does TAA actually vet people?
Every profile is reviewed for professionalism and completeness. We prioritize experienced, working artists who respect the craft. Incomplete profiles or fake looking profiles will be removed after a warning.
